Welcome to Enjoying the Run! My name is Joy and I’ve started this blog as a place to record my workouts, meal plans, and maybe some thoughts on family life. I am a full-time working mom and wife. I really enjoy running, hiking, camping, and pretty much anything that can be done outside and/or with my family. My goals in every area of life right now are really to focus on enjoying each step in the process (hence the name of my blog).
I do have a B.S. in Kinesiology and I am a certified personal trainer. On the blog, I’ll be sharing some of my workouts and training plans, but I am not a medical professional and all of my workouts and plans posted here are tailored to my own life and fitness level. If you’d like to start a workout program, I strongly recommend talking to your doctor and then setting up an appointment with a degreed/certified professional.
